Freya's One Month Old Celebration!

A toast to Baby Freya’s one month old celebration!


It was a simple and homely tea party, gathering only some close family members and relatives to celebrate my little Freya’s ‘man-yue’. We ordered laksa and mee-siam from Kriston and sandwiches, pies, cakes and salad from Cedele. Mom ordered ang-ku-queh and cooked glutinous rice too for the sake of auspiciousness.

But where is our little one… … Little Freya was under a sleepy spell and became the live version of the Sleeping Beauty.

For the whole day, she was just sleeping away and only woke up for some moments before falling asleep again, even when she was passed from one relative to the other.


Finally, when all the guests left in the evening, she woke up. Darling Freya had definitely overslept……Ha……

We had distributed cakes to relatives who weren’t invited. As for our close friends, we had distributed cake vouchers from Cedele.

Not many photos were taken with our relatives since little Freya had not been awake for most part of the tea party but I think our family and relatives had enjoyed themselves and the savories. Most of them felt that Freya resembles her Dad but also looks like me when I was a baby. They simply love her…
